Great, but small Apr 10, 2009
By MegaReader This bag is everything that it says it is. Very well made and organized inside. The only issue I had with it was that due to the way it is made it is quite stiff and because it is on the small size this limits access to what is inside.
I could get a fair bit of stuff in for how big the bag is, but keeping it accessible and organized over a day of site-seeing was a challenge. I had inside, iPod, pocket size digital camera, pocket size video camera and an mini tripod, plus credit cards, SD cards, lipstick, and a few other bits and pieces.
Maybe I was just trying to pack around too much stuff, but it was all "my" essentials for a day out touring and I wanted to be able to pack it all to not go back to the hotel.
Looking back I wish I had bought the next size larger bag the Pacsafe MetroSafe 200 Anti-Theft Shoulder Bag, but as for this one it is good, just small.

Great Bag Feb 04, 2010
By Security minded traveler Purchased the Metrosafe 100 about 2 months ago as a holiday present for myself. I am familiar with Pacsafe as I also own the Metrosafe 200 and Slingsafe 200. I've owned the Metrosafe 200 for over 3 years and have used it on numerous trips. I truly enjoy the quality, security and usefulness of that bag. So when I needed a smaller travel bag, I didn't hesitate to buy another Pacsafe product. The Metrosafe 100 fits the bill. The fabric is sturdy and the bag is well made. It allows for easy access of items. There's a small zippered compartment on the front of the bag. It's separted inside by mesh, which creats 2 separate areas. It's great to store small things like change, receipts or earbuds. The main compartment is well organized. It has secure areas for credit cards, 2 pens or lipsticks and 2 electronic devices. It also has a convenient key fob so your keys don't end up at the bottom of the bag. It has enough extra space in the main compartment to store an additional few items. The slit in the back allows you to listen to an MP3 player, while still having it stored securly inside the bag. The zipper pull on the main compartment can be clipped to the strap for added security. The only negatives of the bag relate to the strap. While the bag does have the useful feature of converting to a fanny pack, it is a cumbersome and slow process to accomplish this. It is especially time consumming if you have the strap extended to it's full length, when using the bag as a tote. Also, if you're tall, the length of the strap is just a little too short to allow it to lie flat comfortably, if you wear it across your body. I'm 6 ft tall and really need about .5 - 1 more inch in strap length to be truly comfortable. Maybe because the Metrosafe 100 is smaller, the strap is shorter. I don't have this same problem with the Metrosafe 200 or Slingsafe 200 which are bigger bags. However overall as usual, Pacsafe has a very high quality, useful, safe and secure product in this bag.

Very nice little bag Aug 19, 2010
By Phoenix I, too, found this bag a little too small for all my needs and went to the next size up with the Venturesafe 200 versus the much larger Metrosafe 200 bag. If this little bag had half the compartments it would have worked better. Unfortunately, for me, much of the inside of the bag is taken up with, IMO, too many compartments and this takes away space. Still, it does work. I just can't put in "both" eyeglass cases or my wallet with my keys, Power Shot camera, and I-Phone.

Great bag!! Sep 15, 2011

I bought this bag for a 3 week trip to Europe. My netbook fit in and all my gadgets had a home. Comfortable to carry and it was nice knowing a pick pocket would have problems taking my stuff. Now, this bag has a new mission of going to work with me everyday.

This bag is mostly good. Aug 23, 2010
By fussy reader I love this bag because it forces me to take only what I really need and not a lot of extra junk. I have a wallet, a glasses case, keys, a pocket calendar, a credit card flashlight and a regular mini flashlight, pens and pencils in my purse and my cell phone in the outside pocket.
The only drawback is that the metal fastenings that hold the straps on wear out and break. I have the straps held on with plastic bag twist ties now. Doesn't look great, but it does work.
