5Perfect size for commuting to work!  May 26, 2011

I really needed a functional, cross-body bag that I could stow all the necessities in for my commute on the train to work and back. I was hesitant about getting this bag because I wasn't sure everything would fit. Here's what I am able to pack into it:

My Kindle
My (large!) pocketbook
A big Tupperware with my lunch
iPhone, charging cord, and headphones
Whistle, pepper spray, and Stinger (safety first, ladies!)
Tissues and extra feminine products
Lipstick and face blotting sheets
Pens and a Moleskine notebook

And I think it could still fit a couple more items - maybe a small snack or a water bottle. I am VERY pleased with this purchase. The cross-body option is fantastic for those of us with shoulder and back problems, but the bag can easily be used over one shoulder as well. I love the sporty look, but I got in in black so it can look "professional" enough for taking to work.

Very pleased with the purchase and would definitely order a Kavu again.

I was really shocked at how small this bag is. I purchased it because I'm going on a trip and being a woman, I want to be able to carry EVERYTHING I NEED to carry as well as somethings I want to carry. It's not wide enough or deep enough. I don't want a big messenger bag, but I need something bigger than a "bar" purse. My last cross-body bag was a travelon and I should have gone with the one I found on here for the same price as this bag. I didn't because it has a cell phone pocket that won't hold my iPhone. I'm returning this and ordering the travelon bag! I'll use the cell phone pocket for my carmex!
