a very nice bag Jan 02, 2009
Very nice well made leather bag that should last a very long time. It is suitable for work or other everyday wear.The amazon website unfortunately rarely gives measurements for the bags sold and I have had to find out sizes from other sites.I found measurements from the Fossil website but the measurements did not quite match the bag that I received. According to the site the bag should be 14 X 5.25 x 11.25 but was actually 13 X 5.75 X 11 inches. This difference in size however does not detract from the bag with its 3 main compartments. The centre one is zippered and has two open pockets and a zippered compartment. The two outer compartments are closed by magnetic fasteners. All three compartments are spacious and can hold a novel and/or note pad, makeup and all the other paraphenalia that women carry around. The end pockets are suitable for keys and cellphones. Fully loaded however the bag becomes very heavy. Although the description did not state that a detachable shoulder strap was included I half expected one as the medium tote has one which except for the size it seems identical.
