Love, love, love this bag - it is sturdy, has many pockets, and seems to have a number of applications (beach or no beach). Given the variety of colors and designs, there's likely to be something for most people in this line - perhaps this bag has suffered from poor advertising, but the complete lack of customer reviews (prior to mine) is surprising to me. Very solid material, does not feel cheap whatsoever, has a pocket for your laptop, and quite frankly it's "interesting". There are a lot of ordinary bags out there in terms of appearance. Why not pick something a little outside the lines, and possibly GAIN even more functionality than other bags - for a totally reasonable cost ($60) too. You'll easily pay that for a laptop backpack. I am very proud of my choice, of both product and then the specific color/style - white argyle. All in all, this bag is tasteful, has broad function, and quite frankly: it's cool.

I've had this pack for about 3 months now. I like it a lot; its durable, well-made, and functional. It's a little big for what I need, but it works. The second pocket (the one for holding iphones, cords, pens, etc.) sags a little bit which doesn't do anything except make it sag when everything's unzipped and slightly limit space in the large pocket, but it also creates a somewhat sheltered spot under the sag (I keep my computer cord there). The laptop pocket works great for my larger 16" laptop. The only complaint I have is the unzippable "waterbottle pocket." I don't know why it has a dumb zipper on it in the first place, but it fails miserably to hold my gatorade squirt bottle. It has fallen out several times, and forget about running with a bottle in it, you'd lose it fast. There's another pocket on the other side that says its for "wax" and is tarp lined, I just use it for trash or something.. I don't know what they were trying to do with the "wax" pocket and "included wetsuit bag." I think they're a large nationwide backpack company trying to appeal to poser surfers (since I heard the bag isn't even waterproof from another review) which I think is lame, but whatever, it's a good backpack that I found on amazon for around $20, so I'm not complaining. To be honest, you'll probably like the pack a lot. And if you can find it for the price I got it for, you'll be really happy you got it.

I was hesitant to buy this when I saw that the water proof pocket for a wetsuit was not "tarp" material. It is advertised that the pockets seems are sealed. I got home put 3 ounces of water in it and watched as within a minute there was water leaking out through the seems.
I will try and get a exchange and see if I got a bad one but I have my doubts.
