Excellent bag for travel! Jul 01, 2010
By Phyllis Howell I bought this bag for a walking trip in England and it was terrific! I like the fact that the strap crosses over your body, so that you don't have it sliding off one shoulder, and thus leaves you with hands-free movement. I walked miles in this through city and country and it performed like a trouper. I filled the bag with umbrella, camera + accessories, phone, wallet and many more things and it never seemed stuffed and bulky. I'm not a petite person and what I liked is that the bag lay low on my hip, meaning that the strap is roomy enough to accommodate many body sizes. Most bags like this have short straps and the bag ends up sitting underneath my armpit! This bag hung exactly where I needed it and never felt in the way. Highly recommended for travel.

Great bag, larger than it looks Dec 07, 2009
By C. McNeil-Young I purchased this bag for a trip to Disney/Universal/Busch Gardens. I was able to pack a whole days worth of items such as water, small umbrella, souvenirs, maps, etickets, extra shirts and the like in this bag. It is huge. It is much larger than the photo shows, so if you are looking for something compact the smaller bag may work better for you.

Ameribag NY Messenger Bag Oct 16, 2010

It's ok but not quite what I expected. The workmanship is good. The fabric is good. There's lots of pockets. Let's face it. I put my stuff in it and the bag ends up being too heavy. Yet it's smaller than I expected it to be.

New Yorker Messenger Bag May 13, 2012
By Lisa Hines The New Yorker messenger bag has a roomy interior and a comfortable, non-slip, cross shoulder strap; however the shoulder strap is so long that it is difficult to carry and manage.

Awesome Bag Jun 26, 2011

I loved this bag. It was exactly what I wanted for a two week vacation to Europe (where I needed to be connected to work). It held everything I needed (wallet, passport, camera, blackberry, cell phone, water bottle, and other items as needed. The multiple pockets and compartments made it easy to separate items as needed, and the zippered main compartment that could be zipped closed beneath the top cover made me feel that the contents were secure. The only drawback--I could fit so much in it that at one point, my shoulder began to hurt! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a bag that isn't much larger than a large purse, but can carry a lot securely. It is very durable, and stain resistant.
